Form NA1 or Vietnamese visa application form is used at all Vietnam International border checkpoints when foreigners use visa on arrival (VOA) procedure to get a visa stamp in here before entering the country. How to fill out the Form NA1?
Completing the NA1 form is quite simple because you only need to capture the passport details, visa approval letter, and some other things as follows:
– From number 1 to 11: applicants need to fill out personal information here. It should be noted that you need to write your full name in capital letters.
– Number 12: passport or international travel document number and type (diplomatic, official, and regular passport).
– Number 13: If you have come to Vietnam, write down the nearest time of entry or leave it blank if this is your first entry into Vietnam.
– Number 14 has 2 parts. For the “intended date of entry,” just fill in the arrival date that follows your plan. The “intended length of stay in Vietnam” is the number of days you want to stay in Vietnam, or you can fill it in according to the validity of your visa approval letter (30 days, 90 days, 180 days…).
– Number 15 – Your entry purpose is the same as on the visa approval letter: traveling, working, visiting relatives…
– Number 16: intended temporary residence address in Vietnam: address of an accommodation… where you will stay at first after entering the country.
– Number 17: if you enter for work, business, visiting, investing, or meeting purposes…. fill in the name of the hosting organization and their address that is located in the title of the Vietnam visa approval letter. And leave the rest blank.
- If you enter with a dependent visa sponsored by a Vietnamese spouse/parent, you need to fill in the hosting individual with their address and relationship to the applicant, and leave the first part blank.
– Number 19: In this section, you can follow the information on the visa approval letter to fill in the visa type with the exact timelines (day/month/year to day/month/year) with single or multiple entry.
Other things that you need to prepare with Form NA1:
- Original passport with an expiry date of over 6 months and has at least 02 blank pages before coming to Vietnam.
- 02 photos size 4 × 6cm, white background, bare head, no glasses.
- Print out the visa approval letter and complete Form NA1.
- Children under 14 years of age do not need to complete a separate Form NA1.
- Cash to pay for the stamping fee as below:
– USD 25 for single entry visa
– USD 50 for 1 – 3 months multiple entry visa
– USD 95 for 6 months multiple visa
– USD 135 for a 1-year multiple-entry visa
