Tourism village to open in 2010

The Culture-Tourism Village of Vietnamese Ethnic Groups will open in 2010, coinciding with the 1,000th anniversary of the nation’s capital, Thang Long-Ha Noi.

The 1,500ha village will come up on the south of Dong Mo-Ngai Son Lake, some 40km from Ha Noi.

Once fully finished in 2015, the village will serve as a window into the cultures of Viet Nam’s 54 ethnic groups.

It will also have a recreation centre and restaurant-hotel complex, in addition to an area showcasing world cultural heritages and cultural works.
